Bill is getting old, has a full plate of Clinton Foundation duties, and doesn't need to be first mate. Why couldn't Chelsea fulfill this role? Would it be allowed?

I think so since the position is largely social and political and has no real power.
But the people are going to want to see randy old Bill as First Gentleman.

First Lady is not an appointed position. First Lady is the title used for the wife of a president (not sure what it will be when we have a female president). You can't "appoint" someone to the role.

Hahahahah yeah i think of she ought to. The platform she's working on is extremely pathetic and opposite to the freedoms that this us of a grow to be geared up upon. I recommend she's attempting to outlaw violent video games, etc. Has this woman even walked around the city to make certain what makes this us of a run effectively? the only concern is that all people is going to choose the U.S. to distance themselves from the Iraq conflict so as that the international community supplies us a wreck... i think... Bleh, this bipartisanship makes me ill.
