I recently received a peach color notice saying Sorry We Missed You! We Redeliver for You. The date said 3/19 which was Monday and it said available for Pick-up After: 3/20 and that means I pick up my item on the 21st, which is today. I didn't pick up the package today so I was thinking of going there tomorrow. I went to usps.com to schedule a redelivery but it told me that my item was returned to sender. I was sitting there thinking that it was impossible that my item was already returned w/o even giving me at least 1 full day to retreive my item. I don't know if that is an error online or what... but if it's really true then I will probably complain to post office.

Does anyone know how many days does USPS keep unclaimed items or had any similar experiences like this? Thanks for reading.

What is your opinion? Most people say that it is because of corruption, dictatorship, or exploitation, but could it be possible that these are symptoms of the cultural environment (lack of responsibility, work ethic, etc.)? Or is it something different?
