That the date proposed by the Democrats for the Iraqi pullout is two months before the presidential election? Sounds more like politics than a desire to bring our troops home, doesn't it?

How do you feel the war on Iraq should be treated? Should we exit in less than 5 yrs, 10 yrs or an immediate pull out. Should we stay indefinitely? How should we deal with the car bomb/death rates? Anything extra is welcomed Thank you in advance!!!!

I mean they just today publically threatened anyone who'd try to defend the lives of millions of innocent Iranian people by going after Ahmadinejad.

This isn't the first time this is happening and that's why I'm asking.

I know I have to do my own research, but I'm just curious if anyone knows the reason why this is happening.

The crowd claimed the president is a fascist and the soldiers are too....this sounds like Democrat rhetoric, stright from the mouth of John Kerry...did he spearhead this flag burning?

The Democrats told us that America voted for a "new direction" in Iraq, but since their election to the majority party, we have actually INCREASED the # of troops in Iraq. This doesn't seem like a new direction.

And now the Democrats have bogged down funding bills for Iraq with pork to spinach farmers and other special interests. Why would they do this to a wartime funding bill?

Have the Democrats no shame? Why haven't they brought the troops home? Do they lack the power? Or are they just liars? Its been 3 months since they took office already!!

Do you anti-war voters feel like they lied to you?

I never really understand why people just hat Bush. They dont like what he believes, and thats about it. If Kerry were in office he would be doing almost the same things, people dont really understand the government office. the only thing he would do different is take the troops out of Iraq, thats not good cause they would follow us here to America and just bomb us up.

If Bush won't respond to Congress or the people, isn't he acting as if we are ruled by a monarchy? In a constitutional form of government, a president does not dictate. With 3 co equal branches of government, no one is bigger than the other two. I have never seen so isolated a president before.
Not even Carter or Nixon were this alone in the last years of their terms.

All the anti war protesters, if the US goverment decides to invade Iran, there is not much u can do about it right? They will attack Iran, and the anti war ppl, will protest. but nothing really happens.
and if the goverment decides to invade another country, then the same cycle continues.

It's pretty sad that so many Americans do not even understand the basics of how our own government works. I know that it is complicated but come on, the BASICS!

You always hear people (granted, usually teens) talk about how Bush is waging this war and how he is driving our country into such a mess...I was even talking to someone who was trying to convince me that Bush enacted the PATRIOT Act so that he could claim special powers in a time of war to keep his presidency forever "and become King."

Now come on...if you've ever seen this guy at a press conference, you'd know that he isn't exactly the type to mastermind such plots!

So who is to blame for this? Is it the school systems? The media? The parents for not explaining things? I just think it's so ridiculous.

At one time he was hailed as a hero, as a key figure who fought for Zimbabwe's independence from the British Empire, but now he is widely criticized as an oppressive despot. Since decolonization Zimbabwe has fallen from a net exporter of goods and services to an economic quagmire. How do you feel about him?
