Here is the low down, what they are doing is despicable for starters and I do believe it is a violation of law.

Email you rep everyday, tell them it is a crime, tell them you want it stopped now, tell them you want a term limits amendment. Now tell all of your friends and family to do the same, at some point the crooks in congress will get the message.

I think something that is really funny about this is the Dems lied like a dog to America to get control of congress and act like it is fine and there is nothing we can do about it,

well try this one, email your state legislators daily demanding a constitutional convention, there are 32 states with a standing call and I believe we only need two more before congress will have to act. At that point we demand a term limits amendment to the constitution, and then we might once again have representation.

There was a revolution in this country once, it started because we refused to be taxed without representation. I am not sure about you but I have not had representation in years and my taxes are still being stolen.

It has to stop. It is criminal and only you can do something about it.

Why has it been done on every single other spending bill as well?

Remember Kerry? He got all kinds of bad press for not voting yes on an Iraq spending bill because of all the random pork the Reps had shoved onto it.

It happens on all bills, the only difference this time is that Fox News wants to make a big deal about it.

You have to be kidding me, there has been more pork on spending bills than ever before in 2000-2006, and that is with a Republican congress....they quadrupled the earmarks of the last Dem controlled congress. Every spending bill (even the defense ones) has earmarks, that is not a new invention, but the Pres. who rubber-stamped every other pork-filled bill right through, now sits in judgement of this one. The hypocrisy is obnoxious.

It was the only way Palosi could get it past, albeit only by a narrow margin, she had to buy votes.....Show the true colors of the left when they say "But we support the Troops" until their is votes to buy.

(Pork is by both parties, but should NOT be in a Defense Supplemental Bill, I guess the left couldn't wait for the tax and spend with the next fiscal budget submissions)

This has ALWAYS been a problem, and it's the primary reason we have a deficit.

The only cure is the line item veto. (I don't care WHO the president is, they should have line item veto to eliminate pork).

Oh, please, like any bill that congress ever tries to pass doesn't have extraneous things attached to it. You act like this is the first time it's ever happened. Everyone does it. Don't be so exclusive with your examples.
