Hours after Dem house pushes through lobbyist rules change that is supposed to crack down on lobbyists, Nancy Pelosi announces “Tonight we are having a celebration!” said Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. "Democrats are back!”

The promptly invited 200 lobbyists to a 1,000 dollar per person party of which lobbyists can still wine and dine them, those rules they skipped changing.

London inside the M25 is a Global City with a GDP greater than most countries.

Why are we subsidising the rest of the UK - particularly the Scots.

I note that Brown has come out and stated that the union with Scotland should be kept. As this merely keeps his safe seat in London and means nothing with reguard to running Scotland should not the union now be disolved and the Scottish dictators be sent back to where they came from?

If Americans are rich, intelligent, healthy, possessing all new technology and weapons (atom boms), then why do they interfere with other country's? If a country like USA has got everything for its citizens then what's the need for it to go and meddle in other country's problems? This seems that they have something to gain from others.

I would like to find someone who can help me get a grant to restore an old building and turn it into a youth group. The area is in a poverty zone and there is no where for the youth in the community to go. Not a bowling alley, a theater, zero, nothing. This town has plenty of children and just one grocery store, one gas station, a hardware store, and pharmacy. And that's it. There is an old abandoned building (what use to be a bar) which we could have. But it needs to be updated with electric, a roof, furnace etc. The building has great potential and could be restored into a youth group. But since we don't have the money to do this where do I go, who do I talk to, who can I contact, how do I write it up. I've never done this before so I don't know where to start so I could use all the help I can get. Please help!

I am a single mother who is currently working full-time. I would like to go back to school full-time to become a veterinary technician. I wouldn't be able to work and go to school because of daycare and other limitations. Would I qualify for welfare if I wasn't working at all? When I was looking up info on government sites, it appeared that TANF was aimed towards people who are low-income, yet still working, which is why I'm not sure.
