Some officers may "make it" unlawful, if you know what I mean. Other officers are more tolerant, understanding, or as some would say it, just don't care. Usually they try to book you for harassment or for interfering with police business. Again, depends on the cop... some seem to have dependable wisdom, others lack even a modicum of common sense (they are just people with a gun)..

Well, no it is not against the law. But it is not very smart to say bad or nasty things. This being as if you really upset him/her I can almost guarantee that you will get arrested. Most likely for being disorderly, or disturbing the peace. Things will go more against you than for you.
