We are brilliant and are capable of so much genius. Instead we are keeping each other down, fighting over resources etc. When you really take a step back and look at it, there is a major crisis in leadership. We need to educate humanity, pour our time and energy into important progressive things like endigng poverty, scientific innovation, preserving our environment. Its really embarrassing to be a human and I'm ashamed reading a lot of things on these boards. Its the stubbornness of people's political views that disturbs me. Makes me question the goodness in a big chunk of people.

There is talk, mainly far left Micheal Moore liberals, and people here, that Bush should be impeached for getting us into a war congress approved of. While Lyndon B. Johnson used his allowed, Constitutional Discretion to wage war in Vietnam. He never got congress to declare war. Vietnam was known as a "police action" not a war. I don't think he should've been impeached, nor should Bush, neither of those actions are illegal. Atleast Bush had the approval of congress.

Also, no arguments of Bush should be impeached for other things. I am asking on the sole war in Iraq issue, these other issues can be discussed in a different forum

I think so. With the dissaproval ratings at an all time low, NOTHING being done to implement the findings of the 9-11 commision, border/port security still dismal or nonexistant, and a preemptive war based on faulty intelligence, he should be a shoe in for impeachment. Am I right or am I beligerent?

Why doesn't Gordon Brown not simply confiscate everyone's income and dole us out with enough money to live on bread and water. Mind you, the cost of water these days might be considered a luxury, which would not be allowed!

I do not mean a one person dictatorship but political parties becoming a form of dictatorship. Politival parties getting their people in and trying to keep them in power to force rule over the masses.

What do all of these parties have in common? They try to put their people in all three branches of our government ruling every avenue in our nation.

With the climate trend we're experiencing, this scenario is very much a threat looming in our future. Earlier last month in the midwestern US.. 94,000 people remained without power for over 6 days with 16 deaths attributed to relating conditionals. Carbon monoxide poisoning is a grave concern as is hyperthermia. So many people and families are unprepared to endure a week without utilities in freezing temperatures.

I just cannot understand how Bush and his evil administration is allowed to continue on until 2008. Sending 21,500 more troops to Iraq when most Americans are fed up with him and all he stands for. We believe 911 was an Inside job to get the war with Iraq going. Just watching how the twin towers fell down it truly was a demolition job, and now tell us who got all that insurance money? We the people can not tell by now the Government doesn't give a hoot about human lives, they seek a money making agenda only.

For those of you quoting economics back at me can you please take the trouble to learn some first.

This is the information age and London produces high value information services of all kinds - not just finance but law, media, entertainment, the arts, design, medical and scientific research of all kinds.

These high value information services far out weigh the value of physical goods like computer chips or food which are now merely commodities.
