So do most senators go to college?

no education required. Look at Bush, he has a college education and no sense at all.. apparently he didn't pass English..he can't put a sentence together and it makes sense.. Just goes to show what money can buy. If u want to go to college, I would major in political science. But as long as u know how to lie and screw people, u should have no problem

The Constitution lists the only requirements: "No person shall be a senator who shall not have attained to the age of thirty years, and been nine years a citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state for which he shall be chosen."
Education is not a requirement; only age and residency matter.

Mischa is correct. You don't even need to graduate High School to be a senator.
Obviously, your chances of winning elections is gonna be tough, with little formal education. But these days, it seems you only need to look good on TV to win elections (you certainly don't have to SOUND intelligent, or Mr Bush would never have been elected)

Evidently by hearing some of the things they say and do, third grade seems to be about the norm. However, I don't think any education is a requirement.
