Its because the US is run by a bunch of poloticions who were put into office with campains run buy a bunch of greedy businesses. Sticking our noses into other contries busnesses makes a hell of a lot more money in governmental contracts than local affairs.

That is a reasonable question to pose.....the companion question is why does the US "loan" billions of dollars to foreign nations all over the world who have no intention or ability to ever repay the debt?
Particularly when the money could be used to much greater advantage right here at home....by the folks who created those funds by paying taxes.
As Robin Williams proposed.....the next time a natural disaster hits somewhere in the world....don't come running to Uncle Sam for financial assistance....
When the dictator in power in your country is murdering thousands of innocent civilians, don't expect any sympathy or support from Uncle Sam...they're not our people.
When you want to move here to enjoy the lifestyle & freedoms we enjoy, & our borders have been closed don't take it personal!!
We have allowed our country to be enlisted a sthe world's policeman far to often....why? Because we have the means to make sure people aren't starving or dieing needlessly of treatable illnesses.
You are probably correct, the time may have arrived when we should tend only to our own affairs, and not be spread too thin trying to save the world!!

u forgot the most important part of being a typical secure US native. We r self rightous and believe that all countries should be like us........free from what we see as opression and they see as tradition or culture or just the way life is. Those who havent been overseas and seen how it really is dont know that other countries function very well on their own. Ignorance plays a part in it as well we r ignorant to others cultures for the most part ..........u see many more foreigners made fun of here and talked about and looked at obscurely than u do if u were the foreigner over there.

I'm an American. I've never interfered with any other country's internal matters. I'm not rich and do not possess any atom bombs. I am however intelligent, and relatively healthy. Why does your question generalize Americans as interfering with others? Its not all Americans, just some of the ones in Washington.

Would you prefer we shut our doors? What you call "meddling" could be many things. You seem to have a narrow minded view of our relationships with other nations. All we can do is what we think is best. I'm sure you can point to mistakes made and poor decisions but at the end of the day, it's our willingness to try and negotiate with just about every nation on earth has made us what we are.

S. is invincible and as a result not undertaking to a obscure and diffuse danger including mass media possession by foreigners or chinese language possessing maximum of our debt, or DC lobbies. that's, i've got faith, a calculated unwillingness to confess US isn't a rustic it exchange right into some many years in the past. They stay interior the previous and nonetheless refuse to ackgnowledge, even to themselves, the international has replaced and so did the U. It exchange into relating to a similar time a conflict on the middle class exchange into declared. besides, they'd't tell the human beings the gruesome actuality, in the event that they did there could be a revolution interior the U. Because we give out billions in foreign aid (maybe even to your country?).
Aid has a hidden cost. If you don't like the hidden cost, don't take the money.

Because we need more oil.
That, and we feel a need to help others. If our cup is overflowing, wouldn't it be best to not let our drink pool on the ground, but flow into other dirtier cups?

Those "other" countries are jealous to see American people being happy. They have no clue how to do it themselves, and because of that they want to make our country look like their caves.
