Sorry I ran out of space. It should read how much does a single woman of 3 (all under 18) receive per month on welfare? Just curious!

I depends on the state. Each state regulates the amount. When my kids were small in California I receive $679.00 when I moved to Arizona I got $297.00. See it can very greatly.

Welfare systems vary from state to state. Remember, the cost of living will be very different from place to place. Also, some states are wealthier, some simply choose to provide more services, some states have caps that limit the number of people covered in a family. Whatever it is, it's not likely to be very much. Years ago when I was an undergrad I research this for my state. I discovered families weren't receiving enough to reach the poverty line!

I hope someone answers this. I know it is not much, not enough to care for that many people. In the 1980's a friend with 2 children got under $600 from welfare.

depends on what type of welfare.. food stamps there is chart that u can look at and it tell u the max income and the max u can get.. if u are talking about healthcare, it's a different situation. Also depends on income and expenses and the state u live in.. I got more in MO than I can get in AR.. there are also programs thru DHS that helps pay for daycare.

It varies depending on what state you live in some pay out more than others That is why people on welfare in Illinois used to move to Wisconsin because Wisconsin paid them more than they were getting in Illinois

It depends on your income and expenses and what state you live in. I believe you can do an estimate online.
