what i mean is that i'm 21. my unmarried best friend just had her 2nd kid and it seems like shes living the life. she's on medicaid, gets food stamps, has no job, pays $30.00 a month in rent in our family housing projects in town, and gets a huge amount of tax refund. meanwhile i'm busting my a** going to school full time, working 32 hrs a week just so i can give all my paycheck to tuition, books, bills and i have to pay 75.00 a month for crappy insurance. sometime it seems easier just to pop out a kid and reap all the benefits. yes, there are those who need help but what about struggling responsible college kids barely making it. just because i was responsible and kept my legs closed i cant get any help from the government. does anyone agree with me? i wish i could make my own financial fund program just for full time students out there.

Is it appropriate to follow up an interview for a top level government position with a thank you email ? Particularly, if the interviewers were rather stiff and formal ? Does it make the candidate for the job look weak or professional ? How long should one wait before emailing the interview committee ?

why?

Do you agree or disagree with President Bush's plans for the Iraq War, the No Child Left Behind program, and balancing the budget by 2012 without raising taxes? Are these just blank promises? Is he even aware that he won't be President in 2012?

Yes, its the Magna Carta
In the first place we (king John) grant to God.......that the english church shall be free and have her (the church) rights and liberties inviolate(without violation.

But just in case im wrong here are the options

up the waazoo for, how many of us want to pay our taxes? I'll give you a good example of our "leaders" spending...the pentagon is buying $20.00 plastic ice-cubes trays from a "Pentagon vendor"...in the spring of 2004, the Pentagon paid $1,000 each for hot plates, even though it had previously bought the same ones for $450.00...The Pentagon payed out $22,797.00 apiece for 34" refrigerators, more than $7,000 a foot.

The "Defense Logistics Agency" has initiated what it calls the prime vendor program, the Pentagon has been "encouraged" to buy from a cherry-picked group of manufacturers, this idea is to speed up delivery of goods to our miitary bases.

If you want to read more on this, find the February issue of Reader's Digest, page 148, article written by Sacha Zimmerman...personally, i find this very intriguing. Any thoughts out there?
