If you were running for office and you had a limited amount of time and money to spend, what group of potential voters would you

The 50+ crowd. There is a reason why AARP is one of the biggest special interst groups in Washington. This group weilds considerable voting power and has a tendancy to come out for the vote.

The stupid voters are the easiest group to appeal to. They require simple arguments to convince and they always back people who act likewise stupidly.

An intelligent voter would need to be educated on a subject because they are less likely to think they know about something. Say the relationship with the imbalanced trade and the dollar strength. It is complicated for the smart voter but the stupid voter believes everything has a stupid solution that you can pull out of the air. Like strong dollar--good, weak dollar --bad. Woof woof woof. Stupidity rules!

it wouldn't matter. The system is set up for very powerful wealthy individuals. ask yourself this question. Who spends millions of their own money to get a job that pays 250k a year?

a power hungry person, regardless of the party. The only way we would ever fix this is to abolish the political parties completely and open the field up to a multitude of candidates with true debate with more than the limiting 2 parties. Both Dems and Repubs are to blame for this.
