Damn. I didn't know he did that. I don't know why. Probably something to do with other countries making stuff out of the wool and selling it back at exorbitant prices. But I'm going to watch this space and see if I can learn the truth. Do you know why Prussian Blue paint is called Prussian Blue?

It says that he stopped the export of wool and stopped the importation of woolen products apparently in an effort to develop a manufacturing economy and the Russians wound up buying wool cloth from Prussia and not from Holland.
