People, I am just wondering if seeings how our everyday rights are vanishing before our very eyes because of our national security and protection if there is a possibilty in our future of martial law imposed on our own citizens and if so will the military and government try to take our weapons? Think about the way we are constantly being restricted with new laws and less privacy-all in the name of national security!!!!!!!

You can't have both a secret government and a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Indeed, there is no such thing as a "public secret."

GW BUsh planned the attacks on the WTC.
The evidence is plain to see.
Similar to the Pearl Harbor attacks (but worst) which Intel stood by and watched the attacks occur in order to get the American people to declare war on Japan and Germany.

Will he do it again before November 2008 elections?

I personnally believe that it should be a requirement that before you can become a us citizen and be eligible to serve in government offices or jobs you must have honorably completed a minimum of 3 years of military service.

The way this would work is if you are already a citizen that won't change but everyone else and newborns will be under a provisional citizenship and upon completion of service you will be given a full citizenship and all entitlements therein. now obviously there will be more to it than that but that's the basic concept

Does anyone else agree with me?

I want to know your thoughts and opinions. What do YOU think needs to be done to cut the amount of welfare the government is handing out to people that abuse the system. The ones that have kid after kid and won't get a job, but will rely upon the government to support them ?

I already have my views on the subject, I just wanted to see others.

I recently moved to alaska and to my surprise, the northest state in the union is pretty similar to the ones in the far south. Alaska is a red state or republican state, the majority of the population is white christian, there a very few black people and they even have southern accents without ever even leaving the state. WHY? I wonder.

Which government agency would have that?
Workforce? SS? IRS?
Anyone can answer, but I prefer someone who can or has accessed other people's job history {example: would be that you work for the IRS} so they can tell me how to apply for my lost job history.
My own employment records were destroyed.

I'd heard on a radio program that some members of our government, particularly the National Education Assoc., believe that children do not belong to their parents; they belong to the government, while the parents are merely "stewards" of them growing up.
I've tried to find some of this in print, but have not had any luck.
If someone else has heard about this, too, I'd like some info from them.
