Repubicans believe in doing a good job Democrats believe in talking a good job, and at best someone else should do it.

I think the biggest difference in Democrats and Republicans are the different classes of people they support through their policies. Democrats have policies that support working people and Republicans have policies that support very rich people. Lots of people try to simplify the differences down to hot button issues like gay marriage or abortion but really you will find people in both parties on different sides of those issues. The real difference is in the class of people they support.

At one time, a great difference, but no longer. Both parties are a pack of liars, and thieves, with no intergrity and they certainly do not care about the will of the people, who they supposedly representative.

In this day and age, not much. People like to think they do, though, so that they can get pissy and defensive about things that don't really matter.
