Which government agency would have that?
Workforce? SS? IRS?
Anyone can answer, but I prefer someone who can or has accessed other people's job history {example: would be that you work for the IRS} so they can tell me how to apply for my lost job history.
My own employment records were destroyed.

Remember, people, Instant Magic probably remembers most (if not all) the *places* where he's been employed, but perhaps not all the *dates.* Who among you remembers all that if you've worked for 5-10 years and at a few different places? Some among us may have worked briefly at part-time jobs, and perhaps Instant Magic is one of them.

That said, I'm not sure where you could get that information. I get something from the Social Security Administration every year for tax purposes (I guess) - it's an outline of my annual income since I began working, and it projects how much I'll earn when I begin collecting SS benefits. Since they know *that* information, perhaps you could call them or the IRS. I have to think they'd have a record of all your employers because the IRS needs employer ID's to ensure W-2's and tax forms are fully accurate.

Good luck.

Social Security is the place you need. Every year just before your birthday, you should be getting a print out of where and when you worked. If you haven't or need one sooner, you can call, or go online and order a report. All legitimate work should be on that list.

You don't know where you have worked? That's interesting. The IRS would be very helpful.

IRS might work. You might consider keeping an update resume. That usually works for me.
