Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Are we putting to much political capital in celebrities? In most cases they are not really any more knowledgable than the average Joe on the street.

I think the electoral college is very outdated. I know the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", but I think the system is indeed broken. A significant number of Presidents have gotten into office without a majority consent, so this is not a democracy. (I'm pro-Bush, but I still believe he should not have been elected without the popular majority). It is possible for a president to have nearly three times the vote of the other candidate, but not win (in an unlikely but posible situation). This should not be allowed.

Do you agree/disagree?
Why should we get rid of it?/keep it?

Were almost 9 trillion in the red, yet we keep spending spending spending so we have enough nukes to blow the earth up 11 times over and invade everyone else's privacy, neglecting the poor and needy of countries including our own. Also, if our country is ever hit with a serious epidemic, were toast with our healthcare system.

Shouldn't it be a major concern?

Since the first one didn't work too well. In light of the British/KGB spy thing, why aren't we fascinated by the lack of concrete answers from 9.11? When Ken Starr investigated Clinton, we spent $40M. We barely spent $4M to investigate the worst tragedy in our national history. Where are the 395, gas station, and hotel tapes?
Someone should give the president oral sex so we can finally have "reason" to impeach him.

Currently, social security is publicly funded via worker contributions and is managed by the federal government. Do you believe a portion of all contributions should be privatized? Should we allow workers to manage a portion of their own contributions?

I am conducting a survey for my own interest. I am very knowledgable on firearms and am just curious about peoples reactions as well as there ignorance to the whole debate on gun control.

Hani Hanjour, the alleged hijacker pilot trained to get his license in a US aviation school. His teacher said that he was not very good and could not perform the flights nescessary for a license. So now, the bad flying Hanjour excecutes a 330 degree turn to descent to 4000 feet then pilot this 4 engine plane to smash into a building when he couldn't even fly a small personal plane.
Also, there are to black box recorders in every plane. These boxes are nearly indestructable and can withstand heat up to 3000 degrees. They were nowhere to be found.
At least 7 of the 19 alledged hijackers are still alive.
The answer is clear. The Pentagon was hit with a cruise missile.
Ask Donald Rumsfeld he'll be the first one to tell you that. http://www.oilempire.us/pentagon.html
