Government - September 2006

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Government

I can't believe anyone would sit there and complain that the government is bad and has too much control over their life, yet they want to make the government do more to censor television. They want the government to socialize healthcare and make laws presiding over the use of it. We've seen what the government does when given too much control over something-- look at our taxes. Do you really want to give that same body control over the rest of our lives? Do you want to see cencorship on the level of that of China?

Why don't we insist to yahoo that if they remove a question because it's been reported, they should at least give the reason to the questioner. See the question "Twin Towers?" for background

get into a debate they carry on like 3 year olds fighting over a cookie. They yell at each other, belittle each other and just act like infants. If my son acted this way he would be grounded for a month. What do you think.

If I hear one more person tell me or anyone else to "have respect for the office" I will be very tempted to punch them right in the face for being so stupid. I have a lot of respect for the position, just not the person who's holding it. Of course, it would help tremendously if our president didn't appear to be a 1st grade dropout.

Do you think 9-11 and Iraq are really linked as one. Or do you think they have nothing to do with each other. The reason l say moderates and independent voters only is because All the Bush lovers will say yes it do and all the Bush haters will say no it don't. So the right and the left cancel each other out.

BEFORE YOU ANSWER, keep in mind, this maybe the "Mark of the Beast" the bible warns us against.

If it is, you may be condeming a person to hell, which maybe a fate worse than death.

Further, you can also expect to be next, not to far in the future.

Lastly, If people try to remove it, you can expect the mark will be injected inside the skull soon.

I went online and read about the activities of the state's congress and was suprised at how much is done on a daily basis. I was also suprised to see a couple of items in the newpaper later that day. We would all be much better informed if we actually paid attention to bills introduced by our political leaders.

ABC tinkers with 9/11 TV drama assailed by Clinton

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Under pressure from former President Bill Clinton and the Democratic Party, ABC scrambled on Friday to make 11th-hour changes to a miniseries suggesting he was inattentive to the Islamic militant threat that led to the September 11 attacks.

Several sense from the TV docudrama that show President Clinton having a chance to get Osama but was distracted by his Monica Lewnski case. He has censored TV shows before such as an SNL skit about his daughter Chelsea. Is this Liberal slant of the Media Censorship?
