it showed both the worst and the best of our humanity.
the worst killing Innocent people.
the best for all those that risked their own life's in trying to save others.
Also for those that have come through and although they may be suffering and have suffered they have shown great courage.
and in the future perhaps we can learn to live together so all those that have died or dying will not be in vain

It's a good question. Hard to answer in some ways I want to stay positive and hope we stay lucky like we have the last five years. But to be honest I think another attack is going to happen. From what I've read and heard we have stopped a few attempts here since 911. But we are inviting an attack as long as we leave the boarder open like it is and the ports not under better surveillance. It's a very complicated and politically correct world we live in now a days. One thing I do know is no matter how, none of us get out of this life alive. The more the world goes into to a tail spin the more I beleve that the bible holds the truth for mankind. peace out

Americans as independant people are less safe because your constitution has been thrown out the window. Politicians and the super rich are fine. The average U.S citizen has less rights than ever before. Don't let them take your guns away like they did in Australia. The faked massacre that led to obscene gun laws in my country has been proven to be a false flag mission by our own government in conjunction with other forces pushing the NWO. Please be aware their are people on here who's job is to push the government agenda also, I am not paranoid, i am not crazy as they will say. I am AWARE. God bless all that suffered and are still suffering due to the American, British, Israeli and Australian governments quest for the NWO. The only countries that are opposing the NWO are those being targeted. Is this a mere coincidence?

Some people that read these questions, perceive them as unreasonable or out of context. If it's reported, it's because a somebody out there didn't want it answered.
My answer to your question is, we are more at risk now than ever. I dont know whats going to happen next, what with the London bombings and so forth. I do wonder but I still feel distraught what lengths people go to to harm maim and kill innocent people to reep revenge.
It showed that some are just so evil they will stop at nothing to destroy

I think we are more at risk now. This is partly down to Bush's foreign policy and "War on Terror" but mostly down to the fact that islamic fundamentalists (which you can't say without saying 'mentalist') have something to rise up against now i.e. the Infidel West. In saying that we (Britain and U.S.) were right to go into Afghanistan and Iraq but should have come down a lot harder on Israel which most of the trouble in the middle east boils down to. Well that's my opinion anyway. No doubt this will get blocked too like most of my other answers.

I think that we are safer now than we were, as the nature of the threat has been more widely realized and counteractions have been taken (with apparently some success). As for why your question was removed, I have no idea -- it sounded legitimate to me. I hope that the Yahoo people who are supposed to be dealing with such issues are in fact doing so.

I'd say it was some ultra-patriotic or ultra pc person who was afraid things were going to get bogged down into the rights and wrongs and justifications of 9/11 and the subsequent war on terror.
To that person I say sorry if you lost anyone in it, but it's time to debate the causes and after effects in a mature and respectful manner.

someone removed that question??? its a pretty good one if you ask me!
safer???? no i dont think so, i think its made us more aware of the dangers other countries have on us. it is such a beautiful world if people just learn to live with eachother and understand and accept other peoples beliefs, but that is just me dreaming guess.
i was looking at some websites on sept 11th and i was sat in work crying with some of the kind wishes people had put on there for the families of those who died.
may they all rest in peace X

Safer NO I don't think so, did it show the best of us ,,well I think it did in a lot of ways, it has certainly focused a lot more peoples attention on to the middle east and the effects of terrorism. That must be a good thing.

Yes, the reaction from the Americans was indeed very much a victimisation situation and the witchhunt resulted in a backlash that the Yanks felt they had to express this and has brought about much viscious anti- American sentiment as a result.
