I have a degree in Telecommunications Management. I have 13 years in IT. I acquired my A+ certification last September. I have written four books on various topics. I have sent out so many resumes that I have lost count. I still am underemployed. It has nothing to do with being lazy except in the sick twisted minds of the conservatives. To acquire more certifications requires about $2,000.00 per certification, and if investing in one is not sufficient then how can one justify investing in more? It is not a matter of getting "jobs" it is a matter of getting jobs which pay a reasonable living wage for the US economy.

There are jobs out there if you know where to look for them. Unemployment rates have been dropping and more and more new jobs are being created.

You could be talking about illegal immigration, but that is another discussion.

If you are talking about outsourcing jobs, its actually good for the economy in the long run. Products are cheaper, and companies are able to make more profit, and eventually create more jobs. Without outsourcing, companies would be cutting more jobs just to stay out of the red.

Also, I happen to know that the US Army is currently hiring. Great benefits, especially education that will help you get a better job once you get out.

Because all the other imports from other countries are taking our jobs, and also because companies do discriminate. Don't lete them fool you. Do not ever mention any part of your personal life ever unless you want to be fired. My motto is just tell hem you are miserably married (just like the rest of them) and you will have a job to call home. Also not to mention they compare tests scores of online assessment tests taken by candidates for positions of employment.

Depends on your trade. Some are in high demand, others are in high competition. You just have to find something you like to do that is not in high demand. Otherwise be prepared to fight affirmative action and time to get a job.

I can get a job in one day anywhere I go, you just have to not be picky about the job.
