Most criminals go back to crime because they get discouraged about finding decent work. I think the government should make factories and businesses that hire inmates and pay them above average wage so they can have a leg to stand on.

I think having a National ID Card / Drivers License would enable us to curb illegal immigration, at standardize highway laws across the US.

Isn't it interesting how we bicker on this board defending 2 broken parties? (Me - guilty as well) Both parties are corrupt as hell, don't serve their constituents, engage in partisan attacks and can't get anything meaningful done. Do we need a strong 3rd party to come along? Some crazy billionaire to run again as an independent? Should we have many parties like other nations do? Something has got to change. Any ideas???

a little known fact the bible was meant as a textbook .
1. it's a fact that the 1777 congress ordered 2000 bibles to be used in schools.
2. in those bibles was a quote on the first page "The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty".
ok with these two facts how can courts today say that the bible does not belong in the schools or even in the government in general........
Based on those two facts........

Driving his 1984 Ford Escort, doors rusted out with a "I love Bush" bumper sticker on the back.

I don't get it. what has Bush done for you? I make $500,000.00 per year. People like me should love Bush -- not people without a pot to piss in

How have the conservatives bamboozled the south?? Seriously, I'd like to know.

Would any politicians sacrifice any part of their career in order to do good for the people? That principal is what made this country great, having the peoples best interests in mind. Nowadays they all make their decisions on what the rest of the party wants, not for what the people want. I for one didn't want 30 million dollars to go to Japan so they could promote their automobiles in out country, especially since the Ford plant in Minneapolis is closing and all those people have to find jobs. Shouldn't we just get rid of these political parties, what good do they do. Please tell me.
