Driving his 1984 Ford Escort, doors rusted out with a "I love Bush" bumper sticker on the back.

I don't get it. what has Bush done for you? I make $500,000.00 per year. People like me should love Bush -- not people without a pot to piss in

How have the conservatives bamboozled the south?? Seriously, I'd like to know.

Boy wish I had your income, but you make a very good point otherwise....the conservative Republicans have done nothing for the poor or the middle class. The so called death tax doesnt affect any of them, elimination of it only aids the very rich. The $300 you got back in tax rebates pales compared to what his rich friends got back on their taxes.

What Bush has done is raised the cost of living--in the form of increases in oil prices while perpetuating our dependence on oil, and at the same time kept the minimum wage stagnant throughout his term in office...so at the very least you pay more for energy while continuing to be paid a rate you were paid 6 years ago. More people now are going around without health insurance than they did 6 years ago, more people are finding that their pension plans are underfunded, going bankrupt or are now non-existent. Your social security fund will be out of reserves by 2026, meaning what is currently being contributed at that time is all there will be to pay out--meaning that they will not have enough to pay your full SS benefit..the same happens earlier for Medicare. Yet we see Bush and friends just talking about the abortion fight they lost 20 years ago and anti-flag burning laws. And his Iraq war that's putting lots of money in his friends' and the VPs pockets through Haliburton and Carlyle Group is financing that whole mess on the national debt which is growing hugely....so you will also find that in the future we have a new wave of high inflation and your children and grandchildren are saddled with heavy taxes....Not to mention that we have 1300 illegals crossing our southern border daily and while Bush is making a show of putting more national guard down there, to satisfy his business cronies (the ones with Mexican nannies and gardeners who they don't pay living wages and for whom they don't make Social security contributions) are going to give the illegals yet another amnesty, while quietly removing the national guard from the border right after the next election cycle. Why because business likes to keep wages down by hiring cheap illegal labor....

You're absolutely right, the Republicans have done nothing for that guy in the rusted out Ford Escort..nothing except to make more people have to drive a similar vehicle because they can no longer afford to buy a new car....while Bush and friends run around in their oh so symbolic Hummers.

Well, living in the south I can tell you no matter what the Yankees or liberals think, we are not bamboozled. Considering the fact that we now have more jobs, a more stable economy and all the yanks flock to the south I would say we are doing pretty good.

Now, to answer your question. The south is the bible belt. We are simply tired of all of the liberal, gay loving, death tax, gun bashing democrats who are trying to tell me and us that we can't pray in school, or own a gun. They tell us we can't have a moment of silence at a school ballgame of say Merry Christmas because we might offend someone. They say we can't say one nation, under God when we say the pledge of allegiance. They scream about pro choice and their right to kill an unborn child and then hold a candle light vigil outside a prison on the night a three time convicted child molester/murder is electrocuted and say the death penalty is wrong. And you know what I am sick of it. And I am sick of them.

Is Bush the savior of the American people? My answer is absolutely NO. But, when you are faced with two evils, you pick the lesser of the two. If Bush has done nothing else but pick TWO conservative Supreme Court Justices, then he has earned his place in the history books.

If the liberals would shut up long enough to hear why the American people have elected him twice then they might actually learn something. But, they are too busy trying to scream about their rights and take ours away to understand or comprehend what the American people really want.

WOW! you're both extremely ignorant or you're attempting to insult human beings. Jesus became able to finish miracles, He did no longer ought to scouse borrow the money from someone to do what he did. Conservatives imagine that is impressive if someone needs to stroll round feeding the hungry and therapeutic the unwell. as a remember of truth conservatives provide extra to charities on common than liberals. We do exactly no longer trust that's the perview of the federal authorities to forcibly take it from one individual to grant it to a unique human being (after taking a 70-ninety p.c. dealing with cost) For such issues as welfare and clinical. this stuff must be dealt with on the bottom achievable aspect. family individuals, community, city, state, the federal gov might want to by no potential get excited by this stuff. that's not financially helpful and promises them too a lot potential. Socialism sounds large on paper and in theory regardless of the indisputable fact that it by no potential works with easily human beings. in case you've been strong adequate to settle for truth extremely of living in an emotional, smooth freely, l. a.-l. a. land you ought to understand. you would possibly want to study the line to Serfdom, loose to chosen, and some different books like this and give up getting your information about conservatives (or existence usually) from the media or Jon Stewart. There are some issues that the federal authorities might want to do and some that it ought to no longer. attempt reading the structure each and every once in a lengthy time period.

Conservatism is a set of beliefs not based upon wealth.

Actually, the poor should be conservative even more so than the rich. That's because conservatism believes in supplying the poor with the opportunity and tools to get out of poverty. Liberalism believes you should give them food once a month and leave them to rot in poverty. Basically, conservatism treats the poor like human beings while liberalism treats the poor like dogs.

The republican party targets prejudices in order to manipulate votes. They have been doing this for years. You see it most obviously by the way they have managed to paint a 'black face' on the democratic party. I know many independents who vote democratic who wont go full demo for that reason.

This is how they control the 'ignorant'. If those ppl only had a clue of how it is the democrats fighting for a better life for them.... but unfortunately motivations that target that primal area of the brain which result in voting for the most controlling emotion, anger, win everytime.
