I am not a liberal, in fact in my political choices i am a republican, but I also can not think of a single GOOD thing Bush has done for this country. Don't get me wrong I do not HATE Bush, I don't sit around and blame everything bad in our country on him. I just want to know what it is other people see as being positive that has happened in the US during his term.
Oh, and good things only please, I'm not looking for smart remarks from liberals about oil and all that stuff.

Why do you think all the librals have singled this chapter out?

Republican values have historically been fairly basic; free trade, strong defense, property rights, State's rights, and limited government spending. Why has this so drastically changed?

I've heard Pearl Harbor, and a US military ship before Vietnam started, plus some stuff leading up to the Cuban missile thing.

But proven with documentation not speculated about, please.

Thanks all.

Some of our most effective presidents (Eisenhower, FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, Abe Lincoln) won the office with little of no experience serving in the US Congress. They were leaders, public servants, and independent thinkers, not shills for corporate America, CEO's, and multi-millionaires. The current corruption in Congress has left few if any Representatives or Senators untarnished. Virtually all of them--from both parties--have taken big money from big money.

Surely there is someone out there in one of the states who can unify our country, speak for the common person (not just the wealthy and powerful), regain the respect of our allies, elicit bipartisan effort to face critical issues, and maintain independence from the inner sanctum of the corporate USA.

What do you think?
