you dont have to pay back grants, just loans. ask in your financial aid department if you are currently inrolled, or if you are in high school I am sure someone will be able to help you even though it is summer. if neither of these is your situation, call the college you will be attending and they will help you. my college (which is a private school) checked on ALL the grants that I was elegible for and I didnt have to worry about anything. you might want to look into scholarships too since those you do have to do on your own. good luck!

From what I understand, all grants do not need to be paid back. I would try fill out a FAFSA if you have not already done so. I would also talk to someone at the college's financial office you are attending and find out options there are.
