This ones fro the rags and wags who doubted Bush said this, but he did. How does that make you feel? Sort helps you to understand some of his decisions. BTW I am centrist, moderate, independent AMERICAN (first!). God Bless our Constitution and savre it from those who seek to undermine it for their own greedy power.

Besides our men and women who are serving in our military, who do you see as some of our real American heros?

I'll start with a few:

Firefighters.

People who take the time to stop and help stranded motorists.

Teachers who make an extra effort to reach their students.

Businesses who pay fair wages, ask fair prices for their products and refuse to ship jobs overseas.

Anyone who does a good deed without seeking public recognition.

Anyone who refuses to lie to advance their point of view.

Etc.

SO, MY FRIENDS, WHO HAS MADE YOUR LIST?

I was over there ( In Canada ) yesterday and it is so clean, people so friendly, and drivers drove the way they are supposed to drive. What a wonderful country. I got back to the USA and what do I see? Trash all over the place. Mean drivers, rude people , dirty towns, pot holes in the roadways , what a shame. The USA isn't that hot.

Where is assistance for electric, water, food and lodging? Also I need medical assistance and can get none. Gas is costing us way too much. If I were to get too sick to work i would lose my place to live. I would love to see how many respond to this.

In theory communism doesn't seem that bad. Why do people get bent out of shape when the word "communism" is mentioned. What if America was communist? What would that look like? lol

The USA is far from number one in the fields of science, technology, and education. We are really lagging behind in all three. There are many other countries that have freedom and democracy so what makes America so great compared to the rest of the world? Why should any of us get up and shout we are number one anymore when by all statistics we are falling behind other industrialized countries?

As elections in the USA are largely bought, whichever candidate that can raise the most funds by promising their allegiance to big business will be put forward by their party, and the most corrupt candidate from the two parties will have raised the most funds, and will produce the biggest campaign to discredit his opponent, and will be elected president.

A government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I think not.

God help America
