How many people out there think this country (America) is quickly heading down the tubes, and slowly heading towards a policestate? Think about it urban decay, job outsourcing, loss of manufacturingjobs, out of control national debt, and trade deficit, patriot acts I, and II, illegal wire taps, web tracking by the N.S.A via AT&T, etc.

I am an American engaged to a filipina who resides in Valenzuela City. I have some questions regarding documentation I need for obtaining my marriage license and would like to be put in touch with the Civil Registrar of Valenzuela City, Arlene Y. Rosales. I cannot find a phone number listing for her office in the Philippines, and I would like to either email or call her in person to go over the necessary requirements in preparation for my upcoming wedding in April. if anybody lives in the area and could get that number, id really appreciate it

I just read an article in yahoo from the Salt lake Tribune (death by the border). That the Gov. gives $816 dollars for the burial of an illegal alien trying to get into the U.S. But why do they only give $250 dollars for help in burying a former veteran? Pretty insulting wouldn't you agree. That an illegal alien is worth more to our country than one that was willing to die for it?

We spend all this money to form a governing body for our country but no one wants to go along with what they ask of us. It shouldn't matter if some people disagree with the war in Iraq. Bush was elected and now its his decision to make along with the other elected officials. All these people waste energy crying about the war when they could expend that on supporting our soldiers and our country couldn't they? My biggest curiousity is out of the people who are against the war in Iraq how many voted for Bush to be the President? How many never even voted at all???

This country has changed dramatically starting in the the Reagan years. Many central institutions have been severely compromised including "the free press", the congress, the CIA and the Pentagon.Today we enjoy less freedom, less political access and many of our ideas of the world are shaped by public relations firms working for the executive. We are the pariah of the Western world, breaking treaties and conventions at will.
