Nope. actually one of the wealthiest Canadians was arrested in the US for fraud. There has been no interference on Canada's part. Despite the fact that at one point he was the media baron of Canada.

Not to mention canada is willing to press charges on some high level political figures as a result of AdScam.

They are not above the law but are capable of dodging it. Politicians and bureaucrats haven`t problems with taking bribes. Also, wealthy people are lucky enough to afford the best lawyers.
