First off I'm thinking about going into politics and if you've watched CSPAN from time to time then you'd understand or see different perspectives of politics. But there is more in it than jus lawyers and the people running our country. Politics is more so a combination of the people who give the orders, and the people who do the work. Without the people who do the work, there would be no governmet.
No people are not stupid for going into politics and people who like to argue either.
Everyone has their opinions. Yes we run into ignorant people from time to time, and I think that would be a more appropriate word, other than stupid.
And as for it being frightening, no it isn't It isn't frightening at all, if there is one thing the government would never do, it would be to upset their constituents, or the voters. To do so would be like riot upon the goverenment, kind of like tyranny of the majority.
And just a little side note I'm only 18, I have my whole life ahead of me, and I'm going into politics because I have an interest in it, it's fun and exciting because you just never know what somebody is going to say or do.

Power hungry people that wish to better their own lot. Ask your self why a person would give up a multi-million dollar business to go into such endevor and the answer lies in there is more money in politics.

Sleazy, deceptive, lying, two-faced rat-bastards get into politics. The same type who become lawyers. As a matter of fact, many politicians ARE lawyers.

I have been to America and Europe how record goes to demonstrate that crooks often gets upper hands. Its the same story in my country Nigeria . People with good intention hardly allowed to rule it universal in nature. The criminals wants to protect themselves and their selfish interest.
