A poll only reflects the opinon of what is considered to be a sampler opinion of the average citizen, spanning all walks of life. If his rating went down, maybe the American public has become weary of this paranoid search for enemies, real or imagined, or because they're noticed some of Mr. Bush's decisions have not been exactly the right ones. Maybe Americans feel more isolated and afraid than before, maybe they're wondering how can we not find Mr. Bin Laden with all our technology and resources, or maybe because of his wildcard nature.
A leader is supposed to lead a nation, to make the decisions that are best for the people, to listen to the people, to trust and be trusted by the people. I unfortunately see that he was not elected, but appointed by court, the attacks on USA happened during his first term, regardless of the warning signs, that his relations with the Bin Laden family are shady, and that the only way he seems to justify staying there is fear, fear of terrorists and terrorist attacks on the homeland. His second term was legal but based on fear. I think this begun to wear down on. And to top it all, the way the Katrina affair was handled, and not only was the wrong person appointed to handle it, but the warning signs were there and these were ignored. Ironic, isn't it. Maybe those are some of the reasons.

Many people approve or disapprove of a President's performance based not on what he does but on how things seem to be going. Many people approved of the President when the situation in Iraq seemed to be going well. Now there is a greater perception (true or not) that things in Iraq are not going well, which sets off a chain reaction of disapproval (in people's opinion, it puts lives at risk, it costs too much money, it increases the deficit, it hurts the economy) and creates a general perception that the President is unpopular. It's a bit of a bandwagon effect -- when you get a critical mass of disapproval, others go along. If things start looking good in Iraq again, the President's approval rating will improve.

Ha ha. Tha's funny people who didn't vote got polled. Ha Ha. That's funny. It may not be nice but it is funny. Truth of the matter is that he is a horrible president. Fact of the matter is that we still have American soldiers getting killed over in Iraq and we don't why. They have captured Sudam, who they supposedly were out to kill, who is still very much alive and well, they seized the so called weapons of mass distruction, which turned out be a sling shot and a two by four with a very big nail in it but yet our American troops are still out there gettng killed, and for what. Hmmmm........Let's see. President Bush is an oil tycoon and Iraq happens to have a lot of oil. Just a coincidence. I think not.
