Isn't it true that Bush and his supporters (including anyone who EVER voted for him) are destroying America?

and other dangers real or imaginary? What would happen if the US did nothing when the tsunami hit or the earthquake in Pakistan or Turkey? Besides a higher toll in terms of lives lost? Would the people be unable to rebuild on their own? Would their local gov'ts not support them? Who benefits from all the aid that's rushed in from abroad in these times? Does the act of charity end when one gives away a $5 bill to a beggar or does it truly begin by asking the beggar why he's begging and what his needs are in terms of sustanence? And ultimately when one does help another in dire needs - does the charity taker owe his/her benefactor? If so is this really charity or a business transaction?

We want lower health care, yet we don't take care of ourselves and we sue the drug companies, then complain about the governments role; we buy SUVs and create a higher demand for gas, and then complain about the government. Why are people so quick to blame the government for they're own problems instead of fixing them themselves? Screw the governments role in our lives, lets take care of our own damn selves.

Look back over the last few American presidents that served 2 terms. I think that they gain so many enemies over that time that they are hidden from the public so much they don't actually know what the public wants. If you look at 2-term Presidents you will see how power crazy they become over the 2 terms and how many enemies they gain.

Would it be a better idea to have 1 longer term of 5 years or 2 shorter terms of 3 years instead?

Anyone else feel the need for a 3rd party in this country to break the stronghold the reps and dems have on american politics. The issues are too complex for the two parties to "just neatly seperate". how bout some ideas as to introducing a third party that could actually gain some ground.
