Yes, we will have a woman president one day. As for who, I think that is impossible to say as she may not have been born yet. Hillary won't even get the Dem candidacy, much less get elected. Neither will Condi Rice with the GOP candidacy. The US simply isn't ready to take that step like so many other countries have done, even decades ago. I still think it will be a long time before we see a female US pres, bu hopefully in my lifetime. I wouldn't want one in 2008 though. Let the jerks who got our country into this mess get us out so we don't have a lame duck presidency for the first female, thus ensuring a long gap between her and the next female. Some people are good enough to vote based on the merit of the candidate, but I think the majority of the voters will still vote based on their preferred genitalia in a male/female president race.

I think the best person for the job is Condi Rice. She has the background, the education, the foreign knowledge. Oprah doesn't want the job, whew! God forbid we elect Hilary, I believe she will run this country in the ground.

I think Hillary would make an excellent candidate and president, she is a strong, intelligent woman that stands up for what is right. She would have a great adviser in her husband, the last legally elected president. He was also the most successful at running the business of the country in over 40 years.

The first woman president will be Republican. Unfortunately, that is the way it works in the real world. The first black president will be Republican too.
Any woman or black person running on the Democratic ticket would be tarred and feathered by the Repubicans. They are licking their lips at the idea of Hilary running. She is SUCH as easy target. They have been vilifying her for years now.

Not for a while and defiantly not Hilary in 2008 because Americans find her too liberal for the job.

I think we will have a minority president first. But maybe that minroity will be a female! And, I'll guess that it will be a Latino first, as they are the fastest growing segment of the population, more votes

I think it highly unlikely! That's not to say that there aren't qualified women out there who could do the job but I just don't think it will ever happen due to cultural restraints!

We will not have a female president in the near future. Men (dem and republicans) will have difficulty in voting for her.
