The answer is simple: Unlike Iraq, they already have the technology operational to carry out a nuclear weapons program. The U.S. Gov is concerned that Iran could start making nukes to attack Israel or other no-Muslim countries. Our gov understands that they're wanting to use their reactors for power, but their facilities contain more military elements than civil.

All of the aspects of this issue is textbook paranoia. The U.S. and the international community are afraid, with the tension in the Muslim world, that Iran could be the one to start WWIII. When Iran fires a nuke, Russia will fire theirs, then China, then the EU, then we're up to bat.

This is the only war that, if enough people live through it, would make everyone throw down their guns and shout from their hearts "NO MORE!, No more wars, no more pain, no more sorrow."

Because Iran is an islamic fundamentalist regime. If it recognized Israel, allowed its men and women to be free, etc. it probably wouldn't be given any trouble. I have some friends who escaped Iran's opressive regime and they can list a thousand reasons why Iran should not have nuclear weapons. Also, nobody in the international community (save for some islamic states) really believe that Iran is developing nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Any further spreading of atomic technology makes world more vulnerable. I can not see, that by widespread atomic technology the world gets more safe. Only the opposite thing is true.

But when will also the US begin to give up the atomic technology and look for alternatives? About 20 Years ago they almost contaminated themselves. Do they really need a catastrophy in their own country before they change minds?

we are going to see. there is plenty tips strengthen motives to attack Iran. some from their president's very own comments and tips they are setting up 3000 centrifuges. Others from the U. S. government, asserting they are helping assaults on US troops. purely now NBC says Iran would have planned a raid that abducted some US troops final weekend. With all that, it takes decision to maintain asserting "No conflict With Iran!!!" i think of the loose human beings of the U. S. would be divided and that they have not have been given any easy thank you to offer up an attack. yet this barrage of tips in even interior the "liberal media" is inflicting some anti conflict human beings to think of combating Iran is okay, very such as Afghanistan become ok. Iran has to earn that "trust". Nothing the regime has done in the last 25 years shows they can be trusted.

If the goal really is peaceful Nuclear power, then outsource it using one of the options on the table. Then over time after you've "shown" that you can be trusted, you can bring the technology in-house.

Your question is hard to understand but they don't want Iran to develop a nuclear bomb. they don't want them to do this because Iran could drop it on the U.S. or on one of our allies.Nobody in their right mind would believe that Iran is going to use nuclear power for peaceful purpose. Plus they don't need nuclear power because they are practically sitting on top of a lake of oil anyhow. Iran is a war torn third world country that may use a nuclear bomb to grab power.
