Why on earth do we want to invade allies and ignore enemies? Is he planning to go to the UN? What will he do if the UN says no? Will he still go forward if he thinks it's the right thing? Don't we have bigger threats than Pakistan?

Rudy says the Iraq War has nothing to do with America's foreign policy. He thinks we are all children, willing to believe any lie that feels good. Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnS4bDz_YQU

...Clinton to raise the village? These Marxist philosophies are sooooooooo archaic & typical of the sixties "groupie" mentality. Why can't parents raise their child? Hillary's anti individualistic mentality seems more geared to a back door power grab of the "masses" by her running for president/village chief. I mean does it take a village to teach a kid to make a pot of coffee, comb his/her hair, tie shoe laces, mow a lawn, bowl, make a bed, read, bathe, brush teeth, say thank you, talk, build a model or watch telivision??? It seems like her "village" mentality is more geared to getting the village into a lock step mentality so the elitist's can "puppet" em for their amusement/use. Why would ANYONE vote for a marxist mentality wannabe puppeteer?

with the mess that is created in the gulf and the rest of the world, the next president is going to inherent a war and many more waiting in line! Iran is already helping the republicans like they did during hostage crisis. hostage crisis was the main factor for Carter's defeat. republicans gave Iran(during Iran-Iraq war) weapons to not let hostages go till affter the election. they recently said that no matter what, they'll continue enriching unarium and that USA can't afford another war. this is going to scare most independent voters and the conservatives on both sides, to vote republican. Democrates might as well give it to them, the way it is going i will put my money on the republicans any way. i won't be voting and make an *** out of myself and legitimize such a corrupt system!

Some specific questions:

- How are presidential candidates nominated by the DFL and the GOP in Minnesota?
- How can non-politicians get involved in the process?
- In Minnesota, is it possible to cast an "absentee" vote in the primary/caucus? (I'm asking because I'll be out of the state for much of next year)

I believe it is healthy to have debates and to rally for your views, but the immature and sometimes violent behavior towards different views is what?

It is not my desire to hurt anyone, only to give extra food for thought. Is it not possible that we are being herded like sheep to an inevitable end? Have we come to believe the lies of politicians because we have no will to do our own thinking from not knowing how to think for ourselves or do we just not want to deal with it?

I don't think it should. I saw a survery once. 74% of people say that they will not vote for Mitt Romney because he is Mormon. I think that is extremely predjudiced. What about you?

Because of one moronic president, any conservative is being shunned by mainstream democrats. I heard someone today say "Well I like some of Ron Paul's views, but he's a republican and I don't know why they still support Bush." DURR!!! By having this black and white mindset (dem/rep), people might just unknowningly elect a freakin COMMI into office. Thoughts?

It seems like this is the case most Hillary supporters are using for her qualifications. Bill and Hillary are two separate people and it would be ignorant to elect someone simply because you want thier spouse in office. That is a very dangerous thing to do..

If Hillary was not married to Bill would she truely be qualified to run a major country like the U.S??

Ok, now she is attacking him for saying he WONT use nukes in Paki or Afghani when going after terrorists, and she says, get this, " a President never takes nuclear weapons options off the table" as she attempts to make it sound like shes the end all authority on them.

If he had said he would use them, she would have attacked him for that. Shes just looking for more ways to spout off and sound important, which has always been her specialty.
