A Five Point Plan for Iraq1. Establish One Iraq, with Three Regions

Federalize Iraq in accordance with its constitution by establishing three largely autonomous regions - Shiite, Sunni and Kurd -- with a strong but limited central government in Baghdad
Put the central government in charge of truly common interests: border defense, foreign policy, oil production and revenues
Form regional governments -- Kurd, Sunni and Shiite -- responsible for administering their own regions
2. Share Oil Revenues

Gain agreement for the federal solution from the Sunni Arabs by guaranteeing them 20 percent of all present and future oil revenues -- an amount roughly proportional to their size -- which would make their region economically viable
Empower the central government to set national oil policy and distribute the revenues, which would attract needed foreign investment and reinforce each community's interest in keeping Iraq intact and protecting the oil infrastructure.

3. Convene International Conference, Enforce Regional Non-Aggression Pact

Convene with the U.N. a regional security conference where Iraq's neighbors, including Iran, pledge to support Iraq's power sharing agreement and respect Iraq's borders
Engage Iraq's neighbors directly to overcome their suspicions and focus their efforts on stabilizing Iraq, not undermining it
Create a standing Contact Group, to include the major powers, that would engage Iraq's neighbors and enforce their commitments
4. Responsibly Drawdown US Troops

Direct U.S. military commanders to develop a plan to withdraw and re-deploy almost all U.S. forces from Iraq by the summer 2008
Maintain in or near Iraq a small residual force -- perhaps 20,000 troops -- to strike any concentration of terrorists, help keep Iraq's neighbors honest and train its security forces

5. Increase Reconstruction Assistance and Create a Jobs Program

Provide more reconstruction assistance, conditioned on the protection of minority and women's rights and the establishment of a jobs program to give Iraqi youth an alternative to the militia and criminal gangs
Insist that other countries take the lead in funding reconstruction by making good on old commitments and providing new ones -- especially the oil-rich Arab Gulf countries

so which you suspect that we ought to continually forcibly occupy the country, enslave the inhabitants and rename it "New Texas"? normally i could say "i'm game", yet for this reason i do no longer think of you completely understand what's happening in Iraq. first of all, why do you think of we've not left yet. effortless. the hot government won't be able to completely administration the region. They continually ask us to stay because of the fact the region is volitale. they are able to't cope with it yet so we hold close on till the hot govt. can stabilize the country themselves. Secondly, like somebody stated, the conflict in Iraq ended an prolonged time in the past. we are no longer in contact in a "conflict" suitable now. we are in contact in quelling an insurgency of distant places combatants that should offer a crap much less approximately controlling Iraq and greater approximately killing individuals. In certainly words you ought to label it an escalated police action. heavily, of each and every of the insurgents in Iraq below 20% of them have been actual born there. something pass borders of neighboring sympathetic international locations and take in the combat. Iraq basically happens to be the "battleground" because it have been. actual the plan works, and you will see this is consequences happening now. It basically takes time. some thing that the "i prefer it now and that i do no longer prefer to ought to watch for it" technology will no longer be able to even understand. supply it slightly time and you will see that the plan works, basically that it particularly is being hampered with the help of instantism. BTW there is not any info that the international will lead to 2012. basically that the Mayan calender ends there. They have been clever adequate to additionally coach that the calendar will reset to the beginning up, yet that doesn't help battery or canned food sales could it?

It depends on what war you're talking about.

Al Queda - When you try to fight a war like you're picking fly poop out of pepper you're bound to lose. Go in hard and strong to any area where they are known to be operating and blow away anyone who resists, then blow up any place where weapons are found. That's how we fought WWII, the last time we actually won a war.

Sunni v. Shia - Forget about it. Train their military and police and let them do the rest.

BTW, there is a lesson to be learned with the Sunni/Shia conflicts. We are becoming a lot like them except we call it Democrat and Republican or left and right or liberal and conservative. The leaders of both sides stir up emotion on each side to try to divide us into two factions who instinctively hate the other without thought. We complain that the Iraqis cannot build a coalition yet I've never seen Nancy and George get together for the common good either.

The issue right now is should we withdraw now and look like losers during vietnam or should we stay and get negative morals from the publics? It's true that mission for ending terrorism is not as fine as some believe and it's true we made some success. The Iraq people are very religious influence people and they believe we are the invader who is here to conquer their lands. It's true that we are here as foreigner but don't forget that we are here because of 9/11 too. What's the point of taking our angers out on a underdevelope country because we can't find the people who is responsible. What our goverment need to do is find a way we can lure out the shitte and reach an agreement of the nation of Iraq, for example: North Korea is still our enemy and the war was since the 50s and yet we don't have much agressions toward them and them at us. The best solution to this war is we should split the nation into 2 and lets the sunnis and shitte live on different borders, and because iraq is also house to many religious monuements we should make them neutral zone when both parties can demonstrait their beliefs.

Replace everyone in 2008 in the US House of Representatives. DO NOT VOTE IN ANYMORE ATTORNEYS. Our troops are only there now acting as a police force. Sounds very familiar to me. And of course to protect the oil fields. The WMDS and Saddam Hussein were just used as ploys to get the ppl behind in support of attacking Iraq. I just find it odd that we secured the oil fields first. If thats Joe Biden's plan(as you listed), sounds to me like another control freak that needs to be sent packin as well. He has no chance with a plan like that. Where did you get the mentality that its ok for us to run other sovereign nations other than our own? They attack us, kick their a55es, and then leave it at that. Iraq is being used as a smoke screen to try and distract the American ppl from whats really happening right under our very noses. This was part of a three point strategy. Trilateral in design.

The war is between the Sunnis and Shia Muslims and the enmity is deep. Unnecessarily US involved in it like what it did in Korea, Vietnam, Iran etc. Now best thing is to leave Iraq and let the two sides to decide their future. Prophet Mohammad has asked his followers to covert as many people as possible into Islam, but his followers are killing as many Muslims as possible, in Iraq and in terror related activities.

Joe Biden is an idiot. We should just leave as soon as possible, period. We went there under false pretenses and now stay for no good reason. You don't fix a mistake by making even more mistakes.
