I support Ron Paul ever since I heard about him and discovered what he stands for (reducing the size of the Federal Government, and reducing taxes). I changed my party affiliation from independent to Republican just so I can vote for him in the primaries. I also joined a local meetup group to help out, I think the massive amount of support he's getting on the Internet speaks volumes about how fed up people are with both parties and the current state of the federal government.

A lot of people are getting turned off by all the morons Spamming Ron Paul's name and URL all over the place.
You THINK you're "Getting the word out" but all you're really doing is making Ron Paul look like a moron who needs brain dead Spammers to prop up his popularity.
The endless Ron Paul Spam means the masses will take him LESS seriously, as subconsciously people are categorizing him along with Viagra ads and Nigerians who need to move $5 Million to the US.
I personally think he's the best candidate the Republicans have offered, but despite this, I've come to cringe every time I see his name online. It's the same reason I can never take any Hoodia product seriously, I've seen far too much Spam about it to think of it as more than a joke.

Ron Paul:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
I was a Barack Obama supporter for a long time, but have researched all the candidates thoroughly and Ron Paul is a much better choice.

His campaign now is #3 in cash on hand, though he needs A LOT MORE help. But this shows that the Ron Paul movement is growing exponentially. Yes, it's true that he has already surpassed McCain in cash on hand!

He is doing poorly. Raising a bit of $$$ so he can run for re-election to his Texas representataive seat when he fails miserably at this Presidential bid. The coffers will be nicely re-filled by the try at the presidency so he'll have tons of money to spend here in Texas for that re-election campaign. But the money here in Texas is lining up against him and it won't be so easy the next time.
Do I support him? Not on your life. I voted for him the last time but I will NEVER do it again and I spend my days telling anyone who will listen what an awful representative he is for my district.

Never heard of Ron Paul. Did his wife (Mrs. Paul) invent the fish stick? I have heard of Ron Pole though. He is a great adult film star.

Mr. Paul is doing well for a candidate with no realistic hope of winning the presidency. He is getting his libertarian ideas across to a wider public. He is popular in his district but does not have the wide knowledge and experience to be president. I would not vote for him.
