Anybody from the Senate or Congress had the dream to become a President of the Land. Regardless of what you inherent from the past regime will be your burden in your shoulder. A would-be president must not in any way retract because of the huge problems he will face. To be the President of the United States is an honor and pride of their countrymen. I don't believe Democrats would just give in with the Republicans. Democrats have their own set of platform of government just like the Republican. Issues on health, taxes, wars and the like could be used by both parties in gaining the votes of the voters. At the end of the day, it is the voters who will judge in picking their next president.

We need to prove to the world that we are not the bullies that the Bush family has made us out to be and show that we really want to help struggling nations (even if they have nothing to offer us such as oil) The administration is now saying, since the WMD proved a lie, that we are over there to help those poor oppressed Iraq people. Well, why aren't we in Dufar if we really care about humanity and not OIL. **sorry about the rant there** Anyway, the next president has a really huge job cleaning up this country's image.

True, the next President will get no glory and will be blamed for not cleaning up Bush’s mess fast or well enough. The entire term(s) will be spent shoveling sh!t and trying to just get America back to where it was when Bush took office. It may be an impossible task.

Hillary Clinton wanted to be President to deal with the Iraq war and other issues the US confronts as against the world.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who wanted a political suicide.

This country didn't go to hell because of one president alone and it won't go to heaven because of one president alone. If you want certain things to be done stop ranting and raving and blowing "political" steam. If you want the world to be fixed, do it yourself. Stop asking people (anyone) to do what you are not willing to do and are not actually doing yourself. And I don't mean protesting. If you want to help the people in Darfur or the people in "your own backyard" why don't you do that and get on with it. Stop complaining about one man and fix yourself instead. Lead by example not by ranting and raving and sounding immature.
[And I don't mean "you" as in the asker but as in people in general (especially some ones who have answered here).]

it's easy to be president when you start out with crap
get used to this "horrible situation" cause it's called life (and it gets boring otherwise)
