those polls are unreliable. At this point, it mostly just reflects name recognition. Most of Ron Paul's support comes from independents, and he is even drawing some support from democrats. These people are not included in the poll. Only about 1000 people who are registered republicans and have land line phones.

The official polls are slanted to favor the establishment candidates. The only poll that counts will be on March 4, 2008 and November 4, 2008
