Because of one moronic president, any conservative is being shunned by mainstream democrats. I heard someone today say "Well I like some of Ron Paul's views, but he's a republican and I don't know why they still support Bush." DURR!!! By having this black and white mindset (dem/rep), people might just unknowningly elect a freakin COMMI into office. Thoughts?

you are 99% right. but bush is not a moron. he is just being blamed for america's problems because he is the president. if you ever took 8th grade social studies you'd know that the president does not have much control. the congress can veto anything he does.
i agree with bill in kansas. it's the liberal (propaganda) media that is brainwashing america into thinking their president is an idiot.

Not really...
I think it was the "Can't do worse than Clinton" philosophy that got Bush elected. So we're about as deep into the toilet as you can get.
I'm of the opinion that there are no good candidates and that this is just a very expensive ego trip for all of them. A really good candidate who was truly looking out for the citizens of this country couldn't win. You have to be a bit dishonest to get the financial backing it would take.
And yes.... Bush really is that much of a moron. But you can't blame him for being a moron in office.... just the morons that voted for him... and especially the morons that voted for him twice!! That scares me more than any "commie" in office! The fact that I live in a nation full of followers who can't think for themselves. They just believe whatever they are told no matter how vaguely.
And anyone who says you are brainwashed by the "liberal" media is a brainwashed moron as well. The media is controlled by Disney, Clearchannel, etc.... all conservative based!!!!! You retards should actually make sure you know what you're talking about before you open your mouths! What a bunch of lemmings.

I haven't yet decided on a candidate, I did go to Ron Paul's website and review his stands. A little to brief, I need more information on him as well as the rest of the candidates. The debates are of little help.
But there great differences in the candidates, and I truly hope a candidate emerges with integrity and a clear message of repairing the damage done by this administration to the constitution.

Acutally, we don't have any communists running.
Most of the Democrats are socialists, though a few are actually fiscal liberals. But the Democratic party has pretty much abandoned the liberal movement.....
And partisan politics is what we've got as long as people keep making generalizations and statements about an entire political party as if they all acted in lock-step.
Set a good example, join those who refuse to make such blanket generlizations -- maybe we can slowly get the country to stop generalizing and look at candidates as individuals, rather than as part of a party block.

Yes, it is. I can name plenty of people I wouldn't want in office over Bush. That's right I said it. I would rather have Bush in Office than say, Al Sharpton, Kerry, Hilary Clinton, etc. etc.
I am fed up with this anti-Bush thing, which has turned into an anti-Republican, anti-conservative outlook. The media has been so hard on the President, and nearly every President just because they are the President.
Is Bush really that much of a moron? I mean REALLY???

Instead of trying to solve the problem you just added to it. You shouldn't call people morons.

This is what is called a straight ticket voter. Very stupid and a narrow thinker! These kind of people need to learn to think for themselves and stop looking at their "party" for their decision making.
