I would not be surprised by this. The families are good friends, especially Bill and George H. W. Bush. And, especially with the notion of the Bush Dynasty and Clinton Dynasty.

Do you feel this is taking place?

As someone in my 30's I see the way you are leading our country, we are going backwards in time, due to tired and aged policies that worked in the 60's. I want my country to be progressive and a forethinking country and to be recognised as a world leader of which we used to be, but unfortunately we are falling behind in year after year. The policies of your government are showing your personal age and mindset of what Australias was like as you were growing up, which is fine for then, but now we have a younger country with a lot more people who are active in knowing about what our government is doing on the international stage and an ever growing proportion of us are getting very worried with the direction of going backwards.

the GOP presidential candidates debating Sunday, August 4, seem to support the decision to go to war in Iraq and continue to support that decision.
WHY?

Democrats are already shooting themselves in the foot with the new "do nothing" congress. Do you think it would be even worse to try and push either of these 2 candidates at the american people?

I am a humanitarian aid worker in Aceh. 69 years old next month.Last year whilst temporarily between jobs I took the age pension for a short period and to my dismay find i now can not get the pension bonus worth several thousands. This is not the right incentive to keep us oldies working.
Please Prime Minister change the rules and make it worth our while to keep working after 65

Barack Obama made comments that he would enter Pakistan and attack suspected terrorist hideouts with out Pakistan's approval. Do you think this comment helped or hurt Obama's chances of winning the democratic nomination? Would you support US troops entering yet another (nuclear capable) country to fight another war?

A Red Play for The Golden State
By Jonathan Alter
Newsweek

13 August 2007 Issue
....

In February, a bipartisan coalition of former senators led by Birch Bayh, Jake Garn and Dave Durenberger unveiled a campaign for a national popular vote. Under the plan, state legislatures would pass bills that pledged to award their state's electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote. It's not clear which party this would help, but if adopted by as few as 11 states, it would guarantee that the candidate with the most votes actually won the election. Anybody got a problem with that?

Bush and his cronies state that leaving Iraq would be cutting and running. What would we be cutting and running from? We eliminated the WMD that weren't there, they had their free elections, and we got rid of Saddam. Weren't these the objectives we set out to do? What do we have left to do to win the war and to avoid cutting and running?

I was listening to the radio the other day and a candidate was saying that he wants to keep families together. So, instead of withholding welfare from poor married couples and only giving it to single parents, he wants to make sure that even married couples get public assistance, to discourage people from seperating for financial gain. Any ideas?

Besides the fact that it is simple to do so....

If the popular vote is meaningless, why bother tracking it at all?

The only thing that matters is the electoral college vote, is it not?

Or if there is a tie in the electoral college vote, then does the popular vote come into play?

Would you rather elect a president who has good virtues, morals and beliefs at the possible cost of a negative trend in our countrys welfare, or elect a tyrant who you know will keep our nation safe by all means and gain more land, power, and wealth than any president who served in office before him? What is your opinion? Vicious or Virtues?

I am really rooting for Hillary Clinton to became a president, but I am surprised that many people dont like her. I know that some dont like her because she is a woman, but please, we are not in the dark ages anymore. Some say she is a socialist, well I ask you to prove it, because the only socialist thing she wants is universal healthcare and that probablly wont happen anyways. Or shes too liberal? Jeez, let the gays get married, let the women chooce to abort, and let the undocumented immigrants get their papers. Live and let live. Or are you a hard core republican, who wont vote for a democrat period?

For those of you who like Hillary, tell me why?
