I was listening to the radio the other day and a candidate was saying that he wants to keep families together. So, instead of withholding welfare from poor married couples and only giving it to single parents, he wants to make sure that even married couples get public assistance, to discourage people from seperating for financial gain. Any ideas?

The family must be protected because it is the basic unit of the society. Good families means good society.

Probably a Republican, theyre usually the ones who talk about families.

Might be Romney...I can see him saying that.

I doubt Giuliani would say that. Not his style. Hed rather tell you your family will die if a Democrat wins in '08...

Paul would rather talk about the constitution...

McCain would rather be shooting himself in the foot...

Hunter might say that, doing anything he can to get some attention...

Gilmore dropped out.

The one Thompson might say something along those lines..

The other Thompson isnt in yet.

Maybe Brownback or Huckabee. The two of them are real big on the whole family thing.

Maybe Tancredo too, in between saying we should nuke Mecca and ranting about Mexicans.
