Assuming both win their party's nomination, of course. Guilani definately can't use the family values card, but, can Hillary work his past against him?

Basically, that in order for everyone to be allowed equal chance to vote, the opinions of absolutely ANYONE must be given equal weighting, no matter how bigoted or deranged. No matter what type of loony-bin fodder you are, you have just as much say in the running of the country as normal sensible people.

This way on the off chance she wins, she could feel safer knowing that people will protect her to prevent the ObmaNation from becoming president.

How many times do you think Hillary has used this term? "Vast right wing conspiracy". What on earth is she talking about?

For pete's sake, are they TRYING to make us sick of them already?

Giuliana, Romney, and McCain aren't any better.....

I can't believe that we are this far out from the election that they are already running their names into the ground.

I am getting to the point that I won't vote for any of those 5 just for the simple fact that I am tired of hearing about them (and not to mention they all suck)

I have asked many times, about several candidates; I have gotten a lot of negatives. So, if you don't want any Democrats and no Republicans, just who do you want. Do not tell me that you are going to exercise your right to not vote. If you are so stupid as to do that, then you deserve just whatever you get.

If you watched the Democratic debate last night moderated by Keith Oberman, did you notice John Edwards poor appearance/ showing? It seems like he needs some real coaching from his handlers - kind of Nixon/Kennedy "visual" TV debate problem....especially the continual eye blinking & he looks very slight in stature compared to the other candidates - If I were coaching him, I'd suggest padded shoulder jackets & lifts in shoes for starters....and he should be "planted" with legs firmly rooted to the floor - not swaying back and forth...it really weakens him....kind of a TV appearance 101 crash course. I am not for or against him...still looking at the field - but I was surprised in this media age to see someone with such a lack of tv appearance savvy.

Not just Californina, but New Jersey, Kentucky and Florida are in the process of getting rid of DREs. If we can't trust Diebold and other makers of hackable machines, then undectected alterations put good elections in danger. I am glad we are going to some kind of paper backed system. We will need complete audits as well.
Good for you, California!

Probably nothing like in 2000, and 2004 when the elections were stolen?

Read
"Fooled Again" by Mark Crispin Miller,
"The Betrayal of America" by Vincent Bugliosi
"Crimes Against Natue" by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
"What Went Wrong in Ohio" by Conyers
"Losing America" by Senator Robert C. Byrd

That should get you started.

I don't understand why so many people are obsessed with their favorite presidential candidate raising money. Isn't the election based on who gets the most votes, not on who raises the most money? It's not like you need tens of millions of dollars to get on the ballot or anything. What really pisses me off it how the "news" takes a candidate seriously if he or she raises lots of money but basically ignores them is they don't raise a lot of money. Has our election system been replaced with an auction or what?

I respect this man for what he did for his country. But lately, as I listen to him, he appears to be slipping (mentally) some. It's sad.

I am a strong supporter of President Bush, and I honestly don't know who all is running for President. Is any of the candidates similar to Pres. Bush. I need to know who to watch for, and if I like their ways. No I'm not going to place my vote based off what everyone says, because I know that's stupid, I'm just look ing for suggestions

wont be the one elected?

Kucinivish (however you spell that name)
Ive looked, hes tried to pass alot of good things.
Is it because he doesnt play the game enough, or is it that Money is truly what politics is all about.

My vote is vote Richardson or Kusinivich as Pres/V.P. Team, with either winning the other the V.P..

What you say?

Cut all the crap!

Seems like Olby is practicing that "polite" left racism that runs so rampant in the Democratic party.

What I do not understand is why people cannot see through this kind of stuff.

The rest of us get to support a rich few and look for any crumbs that might fall from the Republican feast.
All of their policies support such a state of being.
No taxes for the rich.
Lousy schools for the poor.
Golden parachutes for the rich.
Our jobs moved overseas.
