<> You know, I'm sure there are a FEW who would decide who to vote for president based on skin color, but the vast majority of us would vote for the president that reflects our values and ideologies. Please don't stereotype us.

sure black people want a black president but if they would just stop and think how lucky they are theyre not living in any country in the world with a black president take Mozambigue they were a properous nation under white rule then Mugabi overthrew the white regime and now they are all starving and leaving. Look at what Papa Doc done to Haiti when he came into power. Look at what Idi Amin done to Uganda and yes even theyre heroJoseph Mandela if you talk to any of the blacks in south africa they will tell you they were much better off under white rule. Now I know what all of you do gooders and libs are going to say oh my god hes a racist well i am just telling you the facts of life. There has not been one successful black leader of any country in the world.

I want a qualified president,if he happens to be black so be it.I just don't think it will be Obama.Colin Powell missed a very good window of opportunity, when he decided not run in 1992 (Bill Clinton's year).

-sigh- He isn't black :/ Half white and half Kenyan doesn't equal black. I like to consider that mixed, but then again, I guess people are going to back to the 'one drop rule' where if you have even one drop of black in you, you're considered black. But whatev'

I find your question/comment insulting. If a person is qualified for the job and supports positions I support I will vote for him/her regardless of the color of their skin. You may be ignorant enough to think that such a thing is a reason for exclusion. I am a little more enlightened.

I think the majority of people do not vote based on colour. I would vote for the person and their political party policies not based on their skin colour.

yupe i do! I love Obama, he rocks. Of course, he would have a really tough time in the beginning considering racial issues, but he would broaden our minds. Help us see that everyone can do just as well as the other.
Please don't associate with people that say because he's black he shouldn't run.
And if you are one of those people, just think what your saying. Please. thanx.

That is naive nonsense.
I'd take JC Watts, or Condeleeza Rice anyday.
I don't want YOUR choice though.
