I would not be surprised by this. The families are good friends, especially Bill and George H. W. Bush. And, especially with the notion of the Bush Dynasty and Clinton Dynasty.

Do you feel this is taking place?

Just because they are opposing political parties does not stop them from contributing to each other's campaign.

Clinton doesn't think Bush Sr. is an idiot. They are attatched at the hip it seems. I htink politics is all theatrics.

Financially I don't believe the Bush family contributes to Clinton's campaign. But since she is the front runner and gaining ground it seems that she is likely to be the Democratic Party's nominee for president. With that in mind, it seems Dubya Bush screws up and more of the corruption of his Administration comes out all the time. That can't help but be a black mark against the GOP and thus a positive for the Democratic Party and thus for Hillary.

Nah, don't see it happening....especially since they tend to take the nation in different directions that are not really compatible. Both families are very experienced in politics and don't really need the help of the other.

And Bill is only friendly with George Sr. He thinks George Jr. is an idiot.

Not likely. I have relatives in opposing parties and we happily coexist but, we wouldn't give money to each others causes. In fact, my husband I both ran for local offices with no contribution from our family members. I think the Bushes and Clintons are both party die-hards who would never have it on record that they give money to their opposing party. If its a contribution that is off the record its illegal. Candidates have to report ALL sources of campaign income. So, no. I don't believe there is any secret campaign support.
