Democrats are already shooting themselves in the foot with the new "do nothing" congress. Do you think it would be even worse to try and push either of these 2 candidates at the american people?

sorry, i meant will america be willing to elect EITHER obama or hilary if the democrats were to put either of them out there. i think if democrats put out obama or hilary the republicans are gonna win.

I am going to interject myself into this conversation because you mischaracterized an answer I gave on one of your other questions. Your comment sounded very typical of most Americans in this country and for that i am sorry to say that I am a naturalized born American.
I don't believe democrats are shooting themselves in the foot. They control the House and the Senate but they are still powerless to end filibusters. They do not have the votes to override Bush's vetoes. It is because of whiners like Cindy Shehan that are keeping them off track of providing legislation for this country that we truly do need.
As far as the two candidates you are referring to, I do not see Republicans putting forth a woman or better yet even a black. The Republicans Party as far presidential candidates go will always be the true WASP club in my opinion. If people are not familiar with that term than they should research their politics more before commenting or complaining about it.
Please read all answers completely in the future before making judgement on the first thing that sticks out to you.

The winner of the 2008 depends on who is nomimated for the Republican and Democratic tickets. Since we do not know yet who it will be with either party, you can't make comments like will America be worst off if Obama or Clinton win.
