Elections - July 2007

He hasn't made it official yet, but he's going to run. He's been waiting it out and building support. I think McCain will go down and his supporters will be with Thompson. Giuliani has nothing, I don't even know who supports him beyond retired New Yorkers living in Florida. Mitt Romney? Doubtful. I like Ron Paul, again doubtful.

Cindy Sheehan has said that if Nancy Pelosi does not impeach Bush then she will run against her for Speaker of the House. Would you vote for her? Why or why not? Also, what are your opinions on her & her actions? Do you think she is doing this country good or is a crazed lunatic? Personally, I feel horrible for her that her son died, but she is literally crazy (yes, I'm a Republican).

...for his involvement in the illegal DC prosititution ring? He doesn't want to resign but he did demand that Clinton resign for consensual sex.

Why so many illegal sex scandals with Republicans??

Just this week Republican State rep Robert Allen was arrested for soliciting prostitution. NC Rep (R) David Almond resigned after exposing and chasing an employee yelling "Suck it!" (R) Mayor John Gosek was arrested on charges of soliciting sex from two 15-year old girls. Republican County Commissioner David Swartz pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under the age of 11 and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Republican legislator Edison Misla Aldarondo was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping his daughter between the ages of 9 and 17. Republican Committeeman John R. Curtain was charged with molesting a teenage boy and unlawful sexual contact with a minor. Republican anti-abortion activist Howard Scott Heldreth is a convicted child rapist in Florida.

The polls don't lie according to the 2000 and 2004 elections, she is also leading in OHIO. My question is once the debate is televised between these two, will Hillary have it by a landslide? You know Guiliani is not good with debates and politics.

A broad query I know, and an over simplification. Both sides do it, but conservatives seem to be more rabid in their appoach. Maybe they seem more defensive because of who they voted for as president. I think even Rosie O'Donnell has a higher apporval rating.

I just got a look at what kind of money Clinton and Obama have raised for their campaign . Why does it cost so much to run for president? I would think it would be cheaper.

McCain keeps having staff quit. He's out of money. He angered the GOP base with his stance on pro-amnesty. Why doesn't he just "throw in the towel?"

Whether people like it or not, religion is a part of who we are. If you're Aethiest, you're religious on not being religious. Would you vote for a Luciferian (Satan worshiper) for the sake of being diverse? Be honest with yourself and with this answer. Would you vote for a Jew, Muslim or a Buddhist? Would you vote for an Austrian whos father was a Nazi? Do you think it's a fair to ask what religion the candidate practices? Please be honest.
