The polls indicate that if these two candidates run against each other, Hillary will take it by a landslide. You make a good point about Rudy's ability to debate. Plus, there are a lot of skeletons in his closet that might cost him the race. If the Republicans get some one other than Rudy to run against Hillary, then the election will not be a runaway.
I am not a supporter of either candidate at the moment. And I also think it's too early to tell who will be running.

All that means is that more democrats support Hillary than Republicans support Guiliani.
It's no big surprise! Who's Hillary running against? A politically inexperienced madrassa-trained black muslim and a preening narcisistic Breck girl. Of course democrats are checking the Hillary box, she's the lesser of three evils.
And what Republicans want Guiliani? Big government neo-cons, not social conservatives, not economic conservatives, not constitution conservatives.
Vote Ron Paul.

Not very seriously. While the clear and obvious candidate the DNC will run is Billary, the GOP is still deciding who will be the front-runner in 2008. If Giuliani survives the nomination process and wins the RNC nomination, support will be more closely solidified and his support will be more than Billary's after the official nomination processes are complete.
Right now, the Republicans have more candidates but the DNC has everybody trying to sound like Billary. GOP currently has more choices and the support is not as solidified behind one candidate like it is on the DNC side behind Billary.

1948 - Truman runs against Thomas E. Dewey, the Republican nominee in the 1948 presidential election. The scientific pollsters, including George Gallup, all predicted that Dewey would beat Truman. (Gallup had won a dramatic bet by correctly predicting the outcome of the 1936 election.) Newspapers were so sure the pollsters were right that they printed the headline, "Dewey Beats Truman." But they were wrong.

It also shows Obama leading Guiliani... And Obama leads Thompson by more than Clinton...
But the polls for you common folk are generated by only a handdful of americans (usually 1000 calls) and its to people with landmind phones, not cellphones... Who still has one of those . The older generation. Case in point. And the polls do lie my friend.. Just ask Howard Dean...
Wow... this is your first year voting?

Choosing between Hillary and Gulliani, I think the third party candidates really do have a good chance this year! They could prop Ralph Nader's corpse in front of a microphone and he'd be the person to win it by a landslide.

Giuliani isn't going to be around to debate Hillary Clinton, his try for election is going to go , Bye, Bye. He based his campaign on 9/11 , now it is coming back to haunt him. He did nothing but walk the street with a mask on, the firemen want even talk to him. They wouldn't vote for him if he was the only candidate. He did them dirty, when he found their was gold bars bellow, he told the fire men to stop searching for bodies or life, he wanted the gold more than he wanted to find or save human lives. He is pure fake about 9/11/ and his womanizing and marriages want get him votes. So long, Rudy, your baggage is to heavy and to many untrue statements

The problem with polls,is that the internals are never mentioned,i.e.,how many dems were called, and answered, and how many republicans were called, and answered, and so on,must polls by the media that obviously supports dems, usually call more dems, libs,so as to get the results they want,so polls are really not much use these days.
