Due to the fact that the electorial college actually elects the president and the popular vote is what it is, a poularity vote and holds no legal merit.

Then we know we would hear the real questions everyone wants asked. Not these softball questions like you get on youtube, or CNN, or NPR or any of the other liberal outlets. Then we could have a real debate with someone we know would get to the root of the question.

Because of the cost in global warming of shipping tangerines she says she will give up eating them, so those of us who live in areas where we grow no tropical fruits should just live with bland diets and risk the health effects. I guess it is "Let them just eat cake" frrom the Million dollar household of the Edwards who made their money chasing ambulances. I guess that will ensure we need better health care because we will have worse diets.

Clinton - I am not into her at all. I think she's intelligent, and a formdiable candidate, but, I like Joe Biden so much more. I think he is brilliant and way better than Clinton and all the rest of them.

Most people that I have read on here stated that they would support Biden over Clinton as well. So, why is he so behind in the polls? I understand money, but, even if you're disliked so much like Clinton, is that still enough to gain such a nomination? I think that's wrong. Very wrong.

Do you think Biden will gain momentum?

I think it will be Clinton as the nomination, but I don't see her picking Obama.

I see it being Richardson.

Do you think we can have a fair election this time around, considering the evidence of politicians buying votes.......votes being mis-counted.....people managing somehow to vote more than once.......and all this other stuff???

Dead Horse Beating and the $500 Million Pork Grab are old favorites, as is the Special Pleading Relay.

But what other events should be in the Games?

I once posted about a straw poll that showed Ron Paul as the number one presidential candidate, and mostly got the response that it was due to multiple votes.

Here is a site for those people who are willing to get off their butts and actually participate in a campaign for their chosen candidate, real people, real photos.

http://www.meetup.com/topics/polact/cand/pres/

Obama 4,006
Kucinich 1,272
Clinton 848
Edwards 1,845
Kerry 9,271
----------------------------
Paul 24,070 people wanting to volunteer.
----------------------------
McCain & Guiliani weren't even on the list, but that may be because the site is democratic/independent, but Bush is there with a whooping 330 supporters, as well as other candidates with even less then Bush.

Organising bandhs/dharnas/agitations despite the party in power doing good has become the order of the day! Party in opposition today may be in power tomorrow; and the practice continues! "I will pull down what you build" rules the roost! Is this a healthy democratic practice? If not, what is the remedy?

I don't know if America is ready for "a woman" president. I mean, which woman are we talking about here? Don't be so coy, let's narrow it down a little. I mean there's so many women running for president right now, it could be almost anybody. And while we are on the subject, are we ready for "a black" president? Because if we aren't, then someone has to get on the phone and dial up all the black candidates, one at a time, until each and every one of them has been notified that America is racist. That could take hours, given the staggering numbers of black people running for president. You also have to wonder if America is ready for a Mormon president. I didn't know the Mormons were running for president. That's a lot of people. I wonder if America is "ready" for a vague person of any given gender or ethnicity to be president. New slogan: Person for president in some year.

I'd prefer a specific candidate, but why not make it about voting for a gender or race instead?
