The Iraqi parliment is about to take a month's vacation while our troops lay their life on the line. This will cost American taxpayers $200,000 a minute. Bush keeps saying "when they stand up we stand down". How the hell can they stand up if they don't even work at it?

For years they argued that the Democrats did nothing to fix America, so we voted them into office, gave them full leadership of both the Presidency and Congress, yet they were unable to pass any real measures to make America better. They talk a good talk, but don't walk the walk!! If they claim to be so "CHRISTIAN" why haven't they voted to put GOD back into our schools and court houses? Why did they lie to us about IRAQ? Why didn't we attack Saudi Arabia instead of Iraq, thats where a majority of the 9/11 attackers trained and were born. If you want me to vote Republican this year, give me some good reasons. I don't want political basahing of democrat answers, but real answers that show positive encouragement and progression. And can someone tell me why the Republicans think it is OK for Americans to be paying $3.00+ for a gallon of gas and they still tell me things are better now than when Bill Clinton was in office, with what leg are they standing on?

When I think of all the ways the millions of dollars wasted on presidential elections could help our economy and schools it angers me. To make matters worse is the fact that as Americans the joke is on us, because who ever does get elected, their first loyality will be to the lobbyist and corporations that funded their campaigns.

OK when they hit the campaign trail while they already hold a public office. Are these people still pulling a salary even though they're traveling around for months gathering votes?

Hello. The current greatest empire I know of,and for all the wrong reasons,is all of the European Union member states. With no recourse to the people it serves, this rotten-to-the-core, unwanted, unwarranted and despicable Empire rules from Belgium. All the satellite states, including the United Kingdom, now have to kow-tow down towards it and its over-bearing,interfering and total infringement of its peoples rights and principles and their respective governments. If allowed to go unchecked, this ever-expanding, corrupt and politically inept Empire and all those who serve it,will eventually run everything and ruin everything in every country that its grubby arm reaches out to on a daily basis. In my lifetime, our once great and mighty Parliament has been reduced to nothing more than a local Council office whose bosses run it from a foreign land. The sooner all nations' citizens get a right to vote, the sooner this dictatorial organisation can be got rid of once and for all for all our sakes.

Duncan Hunter is not being seriously considered as a strong Presidential nominee? I just need three reasons on why I should vote for him. He is a very respectible man. Can anyone bring dirt to the table against this man? Seriously I can't believe that not very many people are considering him.

Do we really want training given by a co-author of the clinton..."legacy"?

- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation

Can I vote in the Democratic Presidential Primaries in 2008 if I am not 18? I don't think I can, but my friend told me she thought I could. I will be legally able to vote in the actual election in November 2008. She told me this qualifies me to vote in the primaries as well, even though I'd be under 18. It's in the state of Maryland, if that matters.
