I want to register to vote, but in the voting forms it requires me to enroll for a party. How could I do that?

Just check the box of your affiliation. You join by checking the box.

I am not aware of any state that requires you to join a party when you register to vote. If you have the option of registering with a party, there is *always* an "independent" option. Check that and you won't be part of any party.

In the US, you can register Independent or NPA (No Party Affiliation). There should be a check box for independent. Or you can choose Republican, Democrat or some 3rd Party...

When you register to vote, you are required to declare a political affiliation or declare yourself to be a "non-partisan" or "independent".
