Yes. I don't know how many people vote that way. It might help move the lines along at the polls. That is a good thing.

No. When voting straight party you are being led by the nose. People who vote straight party would vote for a pig if it was their party.

Yes. It would have changed the outcome in Florida in y2k. People would have actually voted for the folks they thought they were voting for.
And, after what Bush has done, I can't see supporting ANY Republican ever again. Anyone who stayed in the PArty after the PATRIOT ACT is as guilty as he is.
Besides, the Straight Party can't be worse than the two we have now.

No. I think that all references to political parties should be completely eliminated from the ballots, and that candidates not be allowed to claim affiliation to any political party.
Partisan politics is destroying this country -- eliminating the ability to choose individual candidates, and only allowing people to vote for a party, just makes it worse.

You should be "allowed" to vote however you see fit. If you wanna close your eyes and push buttons, you have the right to do that. If you wanna vote all Democrats because you hate George Bush, you have the right to do that too. Please don't promote limitations on how you can and can not vote.
